Frequently asked questions
A few useful things to know before you start browsing or building.
Do I buy products directly from Cortech?
The product listings on Cortech Supply link to other retailers. You complete your purchase with the retailer, which handles payment, shipping, returns, and warranty support.
What are Cortech Essentials?
Essentials are our ongoing recommendations for common DIY builds. They stay in the collection until we update our selections. Featured Products highlights finds that may change more frequently.
Are prices and availability guaranteed?
No. Retailers control prices, stock, shipping charges, taxes, and product condition. Check the linked listing before buying. Any price shown on Cortech is a reference, not a reserved price or a guarantee of the lowest price anywhere.
Has Cortech personally tested every product?
Do not assume every listed product has been tested by Cortech. A recommendation may be based on specifications, documentation, or its usefulness for a project. Look for an explicit statement of hands-on testing when that matters to your purchase.
Will these parts work with my build?
Check the exact board version, connectors, voltage, power requirements, dimensions, operating system, and included accessories. Similar product names do not always mean the same hardware. Manufacturer documentation is the best place to verify requirements.
Can beginners use Cortech?
Yes. Start with one project and check which tools and skills it requires. A kit can simplify your first build, while repurposed hardware can be useful if you are comfortable checking its condition and specifications.
Does Cortech earn money from product links?
Some links are affiliate links. A qualifying purchase may earn Cortech a commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
What will I receive when I join the email list?
Subscriber updates may include build notes, experiments, upcoming projects, and useful recommendations. Any welcome download will be described on the signup page. There is no paid subscription required to join.
How do I unsubscribe or report a problem?
Use the unsubscribe link in an email to leave the list. For a broken link or website question, visit Contact / email list. Contact the retailer directly about purchases.
